Daniel Day-Lewis: There Will Be Blood

Daniel Day-Lewis is one of Hollywood’s most selective actors but when he commits to a character, it’s a beauty to behold onscreen. His latest movie is There Will Be Blood (>90% rating at Rottentomatoes.com) which tells the story of a silver miner turned oil man on a ruthless quest for power during Southern California’s oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His character (Daniel Plainview) is truly one of the most despicable characters you will ever see portrayed in film. He won a well-deserved Oscar for his efforts.
