Red (2008 Film)
Came across the film Red (2008) the other night on Netflix starring Brian Cox (X2: X-Men United, Troy).
The plot centers around a bunch of local hoodlums bullying an elderly man (Cox) which culminates in them murdering his dog “Red”. The rest of the movie chronicles Cox’s character going about getting justice. I realize this prologue probably sounds depressing and somewhat mundane but Cox’s performance (and a strong supporting cast) is worth the time investment.
